Publishing Dates

Start Date
Your product will start showing on your website on this date.

Expiration Date
Your product will stop showing on your website on this date.

Product Details

Disable Product
Check this box to prevent the product from showing on your website. This makes the product inaccessible, opposed to the "hide product" setting that just makes your product not show in the list control.

Hide Product
Check this box to prevent the product from showing in your list control. This product will still be accessible by direct linking to the product.

Title
This is the title for your product, this title shows in the product list control, RSS feed and on the detail page.

Price
This field can be used for anything but is typically used as the Price of your Product, this value shows in the list control, RSS feed and on the detail page.

Shopping Cart Button HTML
This field is for HTML for PayPal's Buy Now Button. Visit the Paypal Integration Center to find out how to create a "Buy Now" button for your products.


Date/Context Header
This field can be used for anything but is typically used as a date or location pertainint to your product, this value shows in the list control, RSS feed and on the detail page.

Thumbnail URL
The list control for your products allows you to display a thumbnail for each item. Upload a small image to display next to this item if you want.

Friendly URL
This value allows your product to have a more readable URL so it's easier for your visitors to remember.

Redirect URL
This value allows your product to redirect to another page. This is useful if the article becomes out of date and want to redirect your visitors to a more up to date page.

Summary Content

This section allows you to enter summary content for your product. This summary content is what shows in the product list control.

Detail Page Content

This section contains an HTML editor for your product's content.

Search Engine Sitemap Settings

Priority
This setting is used to tell search engines which pages are your most important pages on your site.

Change Frequency
This setting tells search engines how often you think the content will change so that it knows to come back and re-index your content.

Meta Data

Index
Tells search engines to index this page or not.

Follow
Tells search engines to follow links on this page or not.

Archive
Tells search engines to archive changes made to this page.

Title
Alternate page title for search engines to use for this page.

Author
Tells search engines who authored this page content.

Keywords
Gives search engines hints about what words are most important in the content of this page.

Description
Description content for search engines to use.
