Localize Strings

This tool is mainly used for websites written in languages other than EN-US (English-United States). There are certain areas on your website that contain text that needs to be localized to your website's language. An example of a string that needs to be localized is your login page for secure pages. This login page contains items such as a login button, the text for this button can be changed to read properly in another language by entering the localized version of the string in the provided textboxes below. Every string has a default EN-US version so it is not necessary to update these strings if your website is written in EN-US.

This tool can also be used to "re-word" text on the site, instead of localizing the strings found in this tool you can simply change the wording to your liking.

The general section contains global strings used on every page of your website, Most of these values are used in the meta data for you site mainly for search engines to know the language and location of your website for targeted search optimizations.

Strings entered in this section are used to support the breadcrumb navigation.

The secure pages section contains strings used for secure pages. These strings are used to change the text of login/logout buttons, labels and such for users of your secure pages. 

Strings entered in this tool are used to support the custom form tool. Strings such as the "Required Field Message" or "Browse Button" text can be changed.

Strings entered in this tool are used to support the File Upload control used by the custom form tool.

Newsletters have the ability to personalize emails with a user's name. Since not all user names are known when sending newsletters there is a default string used in place of a user's name if is not known. This default value can be localized to read differently by changing this value. 

Strings entered in this section are used to support the Map/Directions section control.

Strings entered in this section are used in the Photo Gallery control. Strings are used for things like alt. text for previous/next, open/close icons etc...

Strings in this section are used to support the product list control.
