Content Pages can have an unlimted number of controls as well as page specific vertical navigation content.
Page Positioning
Parent Page
To position a page under another page select that page as a parent page. To make a page a top level (tabbed page) select "root" as the parent page.
Sort Order
To sort a page relative to other sibling pages select the appropriate sort order.
Page Details
Navigation Title
This value is used a the text in your navigation links for the page.
Title
This value is used as the main title for the page. If you do not want a title for the page then leave this field blank.
Friendly URL
Friendly URLs are used to give your page a rememberable and/or a search engine optimized url i.e "contact-us" for your contact us page. Pages that do not have a friendly url will be rendered using it's page id i.e. "default.aspx?pageid=1"
Redirect URL
Redirect URLs are used when you want a link in your navigation that links to another website.
Disable Page
Checking this box will disable the page and make it inaccessible from users of your website.
Hide Page From Navigation
Checking this box will hide the navigation links for the page. The navigation bar will still display allowing the vertical navigation content to display.
Hide Navigation Bar
Checking this box will hide the entire navigation bar thus hiding your navigation links and vertical navigation content. Hiding this bar will allow the page content area to take up the entire page width.
Secure Pages
Checking this box will secure the page so that only trusted users or administrators have access to them. Users will be prompted to login before gaining access to these pages.
Meta Data
Meta data is used by search engines by helping them to index and categorize your pages.
