Colors

Use this tool to configure the appearance of your site. Select a base theme that you want your site to look like and modify the defaulted colors to your liking. Everything on your website can be customized using this tool. Simply find the area you want to customize and change the color code or font size next to the attribute you wish to change. Changing the base theme will change all your custom settings to the themes settings.

Textures
Textures can be applied to virtually every content area on your website to give it a richer look.

5 Custom Textures may be added to your website by uploading your own texture files to the http://yoursite.com/skin/textures folder and naming them Custom1.png, Custom2.png,Custom3.png,Custom4.png and Custom5.png. These cannot be uploaded though the publishing tool and must be ftp'd to you website separately. Once these files have been uploaded they will start working immediatly.

Background Image
In addition to customizing the colors of your website you may also select a background image to be used as a backdrop to your website. After you have selected an image to use as your background then select how/if you want it to repeat on your website then select where you want it to appear (top/left, center/middle, top/right etc…). The attachment property allows you to fix the background image so when you scroll a page on your website the background image stays put.

Override CSS (Cascading Style Sheet)
This is for advanced users only.

This is used to override styles set by tandem server to give your website a look that the skinning tool does not provide. You may override / add any class you want, or add your own. This is particularly useful when you used custom templates in your HTML editors and want one global place to put your styles.

Custom CSS (Cascading Style Sheet)
This is for advanced users only.
Uploading a custom CSS will completely bypass the Tandem Server CSS files and only use this css file when styling your website. This functionality is not recommended but is useful if you need/want to use your own styles.
